RUOK? Service
RUOK? is a specialized service of Help Line that delivers free telephone reassurance contact for adults and elderly. RUOK? eases the concern of friends and relatives who may find it difficult to maintain consistent, reliable contact. RUOK? calls each subscriber each day according to an agreed upon schedule.
Should a subscriber fail to respond to the initial and second call, or if in responding the subscriber indicates that they are in distress, the Help Line staff arranges for an immediate response to the home.
This is a free service to residents of Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. It is available beyond the two county area for a nominal fee. The individual may arrange the services directly, or have them arranged by a friend, relative, or their professional service provider.
