Database Systems Corp. (DSC) develops automatic phone calling and answering systems and provides call processing services. The technology has been effectively applied to senior calling applications, specifically our CARE telephone reassurance.
What Is Aging In Place?

DSC is a leading provider of community notification programs that assist elders and senior residents using our automatic calling systems. This phone reassurance program is known as CARE (Call Reassurance).
This program was developed to help seniors who wish to continue living in their current residences rather than in assisted living centers.

CARE systems automatically call homebound residents on a daily basis (or more frequently) to ensure their well-being. If the CARE call recipient does not answer the call, our system automatically generates an emergency dispatch call to either the CARE phone center or to a concerned family member. The CARE call center is continuously updated to ensure a follow-up is performed and that the CARE recipient is OK.

Senior Life Management uses the CARE (Call Reassurance) phone system from Database Systems Corp. to provide its senior citizens with a telephone reassurance service. Citizens can be called daily to ensure their well-being.
CARE (Call Reassurance) Programs
Our CARE service is offered to senior citizens through two different programs. CARE systems are provided to community service organizations who manage their own programs. Database Systems Corp. also offers its own telephone reassurance calling program for individual senior citizens.
CARE phone systems are typically owned and operated by community organizations such as city police departments or county sheriff's offices. A growing number of private and public community service organizations are also acquiring CARE phone systems
to provide this value service to the seniors in their communities. Through outreach programs, these communities subscribe seniors who are living alone and enroll them in their programs. Each organization has its own guidelines for senior enrollment.
DSC CARE Program For Individuals
Database Systems Corp. also provides individual enrollment for citizens wishing to be called on a regular basis. Enrollment is managed online and seniors or family members can signup for this service and also manage the scheduling of the calls using our online website.
